Well it was beautiful day to gather as a community once again for the one and only
‘Beaconsfield Bash’, which is usually held in obviously, Beaconsfield, Victoria!
However, unfortunately, the council this time did not allow for the ‘event’ to go ahead in
Beaconsfield as we needed an event permit prior to the day. We all weren't impressed
with what the council had done as it is such a good way for children/ adults of the local
community to connect through this growing sport of Mountainboarding.
Although our original location wasn't permitted for us to use, we still came up with another
cool hill in Casey.. roughly 10 minutes from the usual spot! The whole day was pretty
much just a huge session.. still with lessons, still with free board hire, still with a rad variety
of ramps/ rails AND to top it off, 2 visiting pros all the way from the states.
The cancellation of the famous Beaconsfield Bash still didn’t stop people from coming
down and having a blast! The pros put on an amazing show and were shredding all day as
well as the children, who learnt a bunch of new tricks, made new friends and of course,
had fun!

The Beaconsfield Bash usually consists of an amazing BBQ, mini competitions for all
different age groups and levels, free lessons from our team riders, free mountainboard hire
and as mentioned above, a massive set up of different sized ramps/ rails in which suits all
levels! So, if you ever have wanted to give mountainboarding a go, then this is the place to
be!
